"Kids to Kids" Fund collaborates with Coffee Kids Taiwan to support children with cerebral palsy in Ukraine

In a heartwarming initiative that involves children helping other children, the “Kids to Kids” Ukrainian Charitable Foundation has joined hands with Coffee Kids Taiwan. The non-profit organization, founded by Lucas Lin, Jeffery Chan, and Tony Kuo in 2020, has donated €2,988 (117,548 UAH) to support five children with cerebral palsy, who are under the care of the “Kids to Kids” Charitable Foundation. The collaboration marks the first of what we hope will be many successful partnerships between our organizations.

Coffee Kids Taiwan

Coffee Kids Taiwan is a team of 18-year-old school-going boys that supports children in need across Taiwan and now Ukraine. Their unique project involves collecting drawings from children and printing them on the cover of coffee drip bags. The team roasts their own coffee using green beans from Nordic Approach in Norway and a professional German roasting machine, which they sell at regular market stalls and present to social organizations. All funds raised go towards supporting kids, with over 1.8 million NTD donated to 30 remote schools in Taiwan over the past eight months.

The “Kids to Kids” Charitable Foundation team was impressed with the Coffee Kids Taiwan team’s experience and mission after a long correspondence and a Zoom meeting. As a result of our collaboration Coffee Kids Taiwan provided funds for the scheduled rehabilitation of five kids with cerebral palsy, wards of the “Kids to Kids” Charitable Foundation.

Children diagnosed with cerebral palsy require ongoing, lifelong rehabilitation, and the foundation is grateful to the Coffee Kids Taiwan team for their support. The following rehabilitation courses have been covered through this collaboration:

The “Kids to Kids” Charitable Foundation is proud of the young people from Coffee Kids Taiwan and sees this collaboration as a great match. The Coffee Kids Taiwan project’s mission aligns perfectly with the foundation’s goal of inspiring children to be sensitive and selfless towards others.

The “Kids to Kids” Charitable Foundation expresses its gratitude to Yulia Maksymova O’Callaghan for her support in this collaboration and active support of Ukraine while being away from home.
