Visiting students of the Center for Social Rehabilitation in the village of Kopylov

On October 7, the team of “Kids to Kids” fund was visited children of the center of social rehabilitation in the village of Kopylov. The purpose of the trip was an educational master class for future graduates as part of the Career Guidance program and the Road to Life project.

Partner of our career guidance and education program, instructor in speed reading and eidetic, Natalia Loktionova, conducted a master class on the development of memory and imagination. Children were invited to draw pictograms on the given themes (graphic images, symbols, signs displaying the most important recognizable features). As a result of the lessons,  children will be able to learn information without cramming, increase concentration of attention and involve both hemispheres of the brain, which allows for the development of intelligence. In subsequent classes it is planned to teach children to make up a mind map, to teach digital code, as a result of which children can easily remember formulas and any figures. The program also includes learning the associative method of memorizing foreign words, which will give children the ability to learn foreign languages faster and easier.

The younger children were also not deprived of attention. The meeting began with acquaintance, we puffed balls together and played – it helped to quickly feel the atmosphere of trust and friendship.

Children with great pleasure took part in the educational program and we, in turn, received a powerful energy charge from communicating with the children.

“Kind to Kids” fund team regularly visits children’s homes and rehabilitation centers to see for themselves in what conditions children live and what they need. Since 2017, such trips have been accompanied by educational programs in the framework of the Career  Guidance program for graduates and the Road to Life project.
