Career guidance

This is a series of educational programs of the Foundation within the project “Road to life”. Teens who only visually resemble children know much more about life than many adults. They already knew the pain and suffering from the indifference and cruelty of adults, their own defenselessness and the unreliability of the world. They know what the war is, they talk about it without emotions.

Nevertheless, many of them are not embittered and still believe that they will be able to achieve a lot in life, they believe in themselves and their happiness, they are looking for kindness and support. And thanks to the career guidance project, children have the opportunity to learn about new professions for themselves, get advice on further education and practical skills.

The program of career guidance for future graduates of orphanages and boarding schools begins in September of each year and includes the following activities:

– consultations with a psychoanalyst in a group and individually;

– express presentation of young and successful professionals. Representatives of different professions who tell the children about their experience, how they searched for themselves and choose the profession that they are currently engaged in and very fond of;

– recommendations for further training in each profession.

During the program, future graduates are being further selected. Children who showed a strong desire to change their lives for the better receive further support from the foundation, such as internship, payment of professional courses, assistance in finding a job.
