Friends, we ask for your urgent help for our ward, Alina Nagornaya, a participant in the project “Happiness for every family” since 2015!
Alina is 9 years old, has a disability, lives in the village Rudnya, Kiev region.
It’s happened so that after being vaccinated at 1.5 years old, she had acute herpetic encephalitis. The girl’s family is working hard to get the girl back on her feet. The child is surrounded by love and care of parents and sister.
In early December 2020, during rehabilitation due to the fragility of the bones, Alina was injured – a displaced femur fracture.
The regional hospital and clinics, where they turned for help, refused to operate on a difficult-to-sick patient who may not tolerate general anesthesia.
A whole month has been lost already!
At the moment, inflammation of the bone has begun and, if an urgent operation is not performed, purulent osteomyelitis may develop.
Fortunately, the doctors of the 1st hospital in Kiev, on the Bogatyrskaya Street, are ready to perform this difficult operation.
The initial amount is UAH 90,000 thousand (around 3 600 USD).
