At the beginning of August, we launched a fundraiser to purchase the school supplies needed by the children our foundation cares for — children with disabilities and their siblings from low-income families, orphans from special boarding schools, and children from an orphanage under our care. Every child deserves to start the school year on September 1st fully prepared and feeling cared for.
And today we’re happy to report: every single package has been delivered, and the school supplies are now in the hands of those we collected them for!
The recipients were:
✅ participants of the “Happiness for Every Family” project
✅ students of the Educational Rehabilitation Center No. 21
✅ students of the Berdychiv Special Boarding School
✅ students of the Educational Rehabilitation Center in Udayci
✅ children with severe health conditions from the orphanage in Nova Borova
✅ children from a large family in the village of Klenovets (humanitarian aid)
We’ll be honest: the campaign, announced at the start of August, took a bit longer than planned. Life during endless air raid alerts and sleepless nights has a way of changing your plans — and it tested our resolve further still, when the warehouse storing our goods was struck. We had to get refunds, source the supplies all over again, purchase them, pack everything, and ship it all. But moments like these remind us: when people are willing to lend a hand, any obstacle can be overcome.

Our deepest gratitude goes out to every donor who supported this fundraiser. Every contribution, no matter how small it may have seemed, added up to something enormous: the joyful faces of children receiving brand-new notebooks and pencil cases, and the feeling of being remembered and cared for.

People like them remind us that kindness isn’t an abstract idea — it’s concrete hands, time, and care, given to someone else’s child as if they were your own.
Helping others isn’t about heroism — it’s about ordinary humanity, which, sadly, feels ever more precious these days.
Everyone who took part in this campaign proved that even in the hardest of times, we can still be a source of support for those who need it most.
