?Every year we usually start preparing for the Christmas project in October. In 2016, on the initiative of a group of women, a charitable event “Christmas Angel” was held in Kyiv, which became the beginning of the history of our Foundation.
Even during the COVID-19 pandemic and quarantine, we held charity events, observing all quarantine conditions, but 2022 changed everything. Today, Ukraine is on fire, there is a fierce struggle against the darkness, and everyone defends their front the best possible way, defending independence.
We have become more aware, kinder, more generous…
Traditionally, the children cared for by the “Kids to Kids” Foundation, sent letters for the eve of the New Year and Christmas where they would write about their most cherished dreams. This was happening for six years in a row. The Foundation team would turn into magicians and would find a Christmas Angel, Saint Nicholas, Santa Claus for each letter! Children believed, we believed and miracles were happening! How much joy there was when the child received the desired gift! How happy you, our angels, were when among hundreds of photos you would find “your child” with a gift and a happy smile!
?This year, let the Christmas miracle happen again! The children are very much looking forward to our gifts, and the most important thing for us is that people write to us with questions: “Will there be “Kids to Kids” Christmas project this year? Where can I get a letter from a child?”.
We hesitated for a long time and still decided to make small gifts for children with disabilities and orphans. The first parcels with gifts have already been sent and will reach their addresses soon. Our team collects each gift with great love, taking into account the special needs of each child.
So, we’re inviting our wizard friends to join us in fundraising for Christmas gifts!
