Displaced сhildren from Ukraine in Germany collected €450 to help children supported by “Kids to Kids” Foundation

On November 30, 2022, displaced children from Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Lviv, Odessa, and Zhytomyr, together with their German teacher Inna Ivanova, held a Ukrainian evening to raise money for children currently living in Ukraine. The evening took place at the Gymnasium Thomaeum Kempen, Germany.

The children recited poems by famous Ukrainian poets, treated guests to Ukrainian dishes and even painted a picture for the auction. They decided to donate all the money raised, which amounted to € 450, to help children with disabilities, who are supported by the “Kids to Kids” Foundation in Ukraine.

At the request of the young benefactors, special educational toys were purchased to develop attention, logic, memory and thinking. Natalia Kiseleva, Director of the Foundation, visited the pupils of the Berdichev Specialized School, handed over toys from new friends and goodies from the Foundation, spent time with the pupils and talked to their teachers. As a correctional teacher, Natalia knows how important play and live communication are in raising children. Today, every meeting is extremely important – the confidence that there is support!

We are happy to know that our children have sincere hearts and do good deeds even when they are far from home!

We are proud of our little Ukrainians!
