HELLO!!

My name is Yaromir Myshovskiy, but everyone calls me CHAMPION.
I am a Ukrainian boy from Kyiv. I am 11 years old. My parents are the best parents in the world because when they were told that I had no chance of survival because I only have half a brain, they did not give up on me, they did the impossible! And CHAMPION is not me, it’s them.

I was born with a rare diagnosis: Dandy-Walker Syndrome (DWS), as a result of an intracranial hemorrhage. I have spastic tetraparesis (increased muscle tone in the upper and lower limbs), delayed physical and mental development, I do not speak, I cannot sit or walk independently without assistance.

Before, I couldn’t chew food, hold a toy… Now I can crawl, stand a little, and walk with the help of my dad. I can chew semi-solid food, press buttons on touch toys, and pay attention to what’s going on…

I cannot waste a single day, so my parents didn’t stop even when they had to leave our hometown due to shelling and rockets. Since last year, we have been living in a small village called Floriianivka, Vinnytsia region, and I don’t have the opportunity to regularly visit rehabilitation centers, but I do exercises at home every day.

I really want to continue justifying the faith of my mom and dad and my pseudonym CHAMPION! I don’t lose hope of taking independent steps to make my parents proud! I am ready to constantly work to achieve my dream!
