Diagnosis: Cerebral palsy
The borth of Matvey Kravchenya was very difficult. He had a double cord with the umbilical cord and when the baby was born, he did not cry. The doctors managed to help him to scream, he cried a day until the cramps began. The baby was put into a medical sleep and sent to the intensive care unit.
In intensive care doctors immediately said that the baby has a serious injury and that this is a consequence of the negligence of doctors. It was necessary to do cesarean section.
As a result, Matvey had cerebral hemorrhage, brain cell death, oxygen starvation and child stroke. The boy suffered greatly from pains, cried, there was liquid in the head and the treatment did not yield any results.
In 10 months, Matvey was given the diagnosis of cerebral palsy. Father left the family, when mom and baby continued the path of treatment and have since gone through a lot of medical treatments and rehabilitations that give a positive result.
At 6 years old, Matvey is trying very hard to learn how to walk. Doctors guarantee progress and recovery only if full treatment and constant rehabilitations are provided to Matvey.
The project “Happiness for every family” provides the family with the necessary medicines, baby food and personal hygiene products on a monthly basis. Project also collects funds for necessary medical treatments and rehabilitation.
