Kids to Kids Foundation
Summer is a great time to get together! And we decided to arrange a special occasion for this! Gather all our children with special needs and their families under the same roof, in nature!
17 children and their parents will come from different cities of Ukraine to the “Happy Picnic” of the Kids to Kids Foundation, to escape from everyday life of constant struggle with the disease, take a break, enjoy a fresh air, share bright summer sunny days with us! (Unfortunately, not all 24 families will be able to join us, as some of the kids have a very difficult diagnosis). And it is very important to us that parents of children, and especially mothers, will be able to join the picnic. After all, it is precisely because of their motivation and love for their children, the support of each other, that children continue to develop and make incredible progress in dealing with their illnesses. The help of parents for any child is invaluable, and in our case it is vital!
Picnic dates: August 24-25, 2019
“Happy Picnic” will be held in the recreation camp of psychological development “Lesnaya Zastava” near Kiev.
Professional teachers and volunteers will work with children. While parents can talk with psychologists, correctional educators, rehabilitators and just relax in nature and make new acquaintances!
In the evening we will fry potatoes by the fire and sing songs with a guitar. We will give our special families a boost of energy and a piece of HAPPINESS! Which is so necessary in order to believe and live!

Our team has been working on the project “Happy Picnic” for several months already and very soon we will start telling you about our wonderful participants who help in its implementation.

The project budget is: 65 000 UAH.
What covers the cost of relocation, room and board.
Geography of families who go on a picnic: Slavyansk, Liman, Kiev, Brovary, Poltava, Zaporozhye, Lugansk and Dnepropetrovsk region.
