Charity event of the Robocode School of Robotics and Programming: let's bring joy to children!

An impressive charity event organized by the teachers of the Robocode School of Robotics and Programming  took place in Kyiv.

The purpose of the event is to support children with disabilities and orphans who are under the care of the charity organization “Kids to Kids” .

This private school, where children aged 7 to 16 learn the basics of programming, create robots and develop games, decided to join forces to help orphans and children with disabilities.

Thanks to the sincere hearts and tireless efforts of the children and their parents, we managed to collect a huge number of gifts for the kids. As a result of the campaign, we collected:

    • 148 books for the development of imagination and knowledge
    • 128 creative sets for creating drawings and figurines
    • 345 magic gizmos to bring the pages to life
    • 164 toys – none of which will be left without a smile
    • 102 pieces of clothing – to make everyone look stylish
    • 97 puzzles – for little geniuses
    • 166 educational and board games – for the development of logic and intelligence
    • 87 construction sets – where imagination knows no bounds
    • 14 units of sports equipment – for active recreation
    • 101 dinosaurs – ready for adventures
    • 25 kg of sweets – for the sweetest smiles
    • 7 cups – for tea in a good mood
    • 1 dance floor and 1 pair of headphones – for a festive mood

The students of the school dreamed that their gifts would become a manifestation of love and support for children who lack it. It is important to teach children from an early age to share, help and sympathize with others, because these are the values that form good hearts and make the world a better place. All the collected gifts were distributed among children from low-income families, participants of the “Happiness for Every Family” project, and orphans from special boarding schools.
