A year ago, the Women’s Business Club “The One in a Million” joined the charitable support of children with disabilities, who are cared for by the “Kids to Kids” Foundation. During the year, the foundation received a lot of assistance from the Club, thanks to which it was able to significantly improve the life and health of children with disabilities and orphans.
During this time, the fund paid for an additional rehabilitation course for a child with disabilities, a large amount of aid was provided and New Year’s gifts were received by girls with severe mental disorders from the orphanage in the city of Novaya Borovaya, Zhytomyr Region, as part of the annual charity event “Christmas Miracle”.
The Women’s Business Club was one of the first to support the charity exhibition and sale of children’s drawings “The World Around Me”, during which the “Kids to Kids” Foundation collected funds for the arrangement of bomb shelters for orphanages.
On September 22, at the initiative of the Women’s Business Club “The One in a Million”, a charity auction was held in Vienna as part of a charity dinner in honor of the opening of the new Buffalino Italian restaurant by our compatriots. Ukrainian women temporarily living in Vienna and other European countries joined the event. They live and work there to support Ukraine, show the world that even war will not break us.
Ukrainian brands took part in the auction: Ukrainian Caviar Berry – one of the most powerful producers of the legendary sturgeon caviar in Ukraine, the luxury cosmetics brand Muran official, the Obiimy brand of silk scarves with an original print by a Ukrainian artist, where an ornament is engraved of the Ukrainian cultural code, designer KVITKA DRESS embroidered shirts, the samples of which have the code of the nation encrypted. The funds collected from the sale of Ukrainian products went to support Ukrainian women and children who suffered from military actions.
The most important lot from the Ukrainian brand ART RAMUS was a painting by the artist and designer Tatyana Ramus titled “Bright Thoughts in My Head”. 100 percent of the sale of the painting was transferred to the “Kids to Kids” Foundation.
The remainder of the amount raised at the auction and the charitable contribution from “OMNIA TRADE” LLC was spent on the purchase of a light generator, which is urgently needed right now for the children of the boarding school in Udaitsi, Chernihiv region, Ukraine.
