On October 11, 2019, as a part of Junior Fashion Week 2019/2020 in Kyiv, the debut charity collection NE_ON brand ANTIBOT was presented.
The creator of the collection is 14-year-old Katerina Momot – bright, creative, socially active, a volunteer of the “Children to Children” Charity Foundation since 2016. Katerina was inspired to create the collection by her mother – co-founder of the foundation Elena Momot. The parents supported the girl’s desire to create a charity collection, the main purpose of which was to show that fashion has no limits.
The collection consisted of 15 models of clothes for girls and boys. Some models are unisex – hoodies, T-shirts, sleeveless sports shirts and sports pants, complemented by baseball caps with the brand logo. The clothes are made of soft cotton and hypoallergenic flex, with soft zippers. The collection uses the whole range of colors from white to black, pink, red and green. A unique multicolor print was created especially for some models.
For children with disabilities some models of the collection were upgraded. For babies created baby-body on individual patterns. The size range of the collection is from 2 to 18 years. Assistance in the development and sewing of the collection, mentoring kindly took the Ukrainian designer Darya Chuprina, founder of the eponymous brand DARIACHUPRINA.
The idea of the AntiBot brand is a kind of protest against bots, behind which it is difficult to recognize a personality. Hence the name of the collection NE_ON – a stranger resembling an alien.
Katerina approached the creation of the collection seriously. For three months she had been taking an individual course at VIA FASHION SCHOOL at VOTUM Image Agency under the guidance of Ulyana Pak. The whole process from idea to fashion show took 5 months.
The young designer invited her friends and students of the model studio Upnfame. junior, many of whom have repeatedly participated in the charity events of the foundation. Julia Velkevich, the founder and head of Upnfame.junior studio, supported the preparation of the bright fashion show. Pupils of the studio and Julia’s children are also old friends of the Foundation. All the items presented on the catwalk could be bought right there in the Fashion shop.
The proceeds from sales – 34000 UAH – went to sewing the clothes from the collection and became birthday gifts for 25 children with disabilities – participants of the project “Happiness in Every Family” of the “Kids to Kids” Fund. The first birthday child received a gift right at the show. During the year, not only children with disabilities – participants of the project – received presents tailored to their individual needs. Their brothers and sisters also got pleasant surprises.
The day of the presentation of the collection was a charity master class for children in painting eco-bags by Julia Bilchuk, founder of the Julia’s mosaic art project. The collected funds were donated for the surgery for Damir Tsegelnik, a ward of the “Kids to Kids” fund.
The guests of the show, participants of the charity workshop, buyers of the collection received as gifts the branded gingerbread with the logo of AntiBot brand.
The collection of the young designer participated in another charity show “Pulse of Christmas” in December 2019 in support of fundraising to purchase a modern heating system for young patients of the Center for Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
Our children are the future of Ukraine. We are happy and confident – the future is in safe hands.
