At the “Kids to Kids” Charitable Foundation, we truly believe that kindness multiplies when children are involved. That is why our partnership with Robocode.ua  has become something very special to us — sincere, meaningful, and future-shaping.

How a Shared Tradition Began

Last year, the Robocode.ua team made an important decision:

We decided that we wanted to move toward various initiatives united by one general phrase — Children for Children. We literally approved this concept under that exact name. And the very next week we came across the Kids2Kids Foundation. It was a match.

This “match” marked the beginning of an annual Christmas tradition — the Boxes of Kindness.

“We were looking for an opportunity to do something warm and emotional for St. Nicholas Day for children who need it most. Every child deserves a celebration, so we decided to launch Boxes of Kindness across our entire network.

Charity event of the Robocode School of Robotics and Programming: let’s bring joy to children!

Students, together with their parents, brought gifts for other children — guided by their hearts. That year, many magical gift packages were collected and handed over to the Kids to Kids Foundation.

The initiative received a heartfelt response from our young ‘robocats’ and the entire team. So we decided to make it our annual Christmas tradition.

Charity as Part of Corporate Culture

For Robocode.ua, social engagement is not a one-time action, but an integral part of their culture:

All of this is part of our culture and an important contribution to raising children.
The team regularly participates in charitable initiatives, supports employees who are facing difficult circumstances, and launches both nationwide and local fundraising efforts within individual schools.
Participation in charitable initiatives is a reminder that everyone should make their own contribution. As a company that works with children and shapes their future, we feel significant responsibility here. In addition to technical skills, there must also be humanity.

Children themselves sincerely respond to such initiatives:

Modern children clearly understand the situation the country and its people are in. They also want to help. That is why it is important for us to give them the opportunity to be involved and to feel that they are making a difference. This nurtures humanity.

Boxes of Kindness 2025–2026: Responding to Real Needs

This year, the initiative took on a slightly different focus.

This year, our Boxes of Kindness had a different goal. Instead of gifts, they contained essential items needed for everyday life — because that was the request.

Approximately 1,500 children and their parents from more than 50 schools across Ukraine joined the initiative.
The collection lasted from December 13 to January 5.

Each school prepared its own box filled with essential items:
children’s cold medicines, diapers, baby sheets, hygiene products, wipes, long-shelf-life food, sweets, and toys.
Especially touching was the fact that some parents wished to personally accompany foundation representatives during the handover:

Some parents wanted to travel with foundation representatives to deliver the aid in person — so that their child could see how kindness works.

Words of Gratitude from the Foundation

The Director of the “Kids to Kids” Foundation, Nataliia Kisielova, expressed her sincere appreciation:

Children who are learning programming today are also learning compassion, responsibility, and solidarity. We are deeply grateful to the Robocode.ua team, their students, and parents for their open hearts, trust, and consistency. Together, we are not only delivering aid — we are raising a generation that cares.”
At the Kids to Kids Foundation, we truly value this cooperation.
The only thing we need to do is continue — and that is exactly what we plan to do, with sincere gratitude to the Kids2Kids team. This is one of our most beloved partnerships.

The support collected as part of the initiative reached those who need it most today.

It was provided:

✅ to children with disabilities from low-income families — participants of the annual support project “Happiness in Every Family”

✅ to internally displaced families
✅ to orphaned children from the Novoborivsk Residential Care Hom

For each of these children and families, this support became a meaningful sign of care and compassion.
Because when children help children, the world becomes warmer.
