The “Road to Life – 2025” project supported 24 orphanage graduates. Learn how an ordinary suitcase became a symbol of a new beginning.
The “Road to Life” project is one of the most heartfelt and meaningful annual efforts of our foundation. Its goal is to support graduates of orphanages and special rehabilitation schools as they take their first steps into independent adulthood. These are young people whose childhoods were filled with trials, loss, and pain — yet also dreams, hope, and the desire to move forward.

Launched in 2017, this initiative has become a symbolic yet powerful tradition. Every year, the “Kids to Kids” team helps open the door to a new chapter for dozens of young adults.
This year, 24 graduates from 4 children’s institutions from different cities of Ukraine became project participants.
Each received their first personal suitcase — not just a gift, but a carefully assembled set of essential household items, thoughtfully chosen with care and love. But more importantly, along with the suitcases, they received something that cannot be bought: warmth, heartfelt embraces, sincere conversations, parental advice, and genuine support.
Our team, together with donors, personally delivered each suitcase. Every visit was full of emotion — joy, nervous anticipation, tenderness, and hope. We saw all of this in our graduates’ eyes.
On behalf of the foundation’s team and myself, I would like to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who contributed to the project this year. Despite the ongoing war, sleepless nights under threat, and the toll it takes emotionally and financially — you found the strength and compassion to support those who needed it most.
You became the first support system for 24 young people taking their first step into the unknown. For them, this beginning was warmed by your care.
