Outcomes of the exhibition "The World Around Me"

The Ukrainian Charity Foundation "Kids to Kids" with support of the general partner Best People Club, held the opening of a charity exhibition and sale of children's drawings with the title "The World Around Me", which united hundreds of children from different parts of Ukraine. The children submitted their drawings to help raise money for bomb shelters renovation at boarding schools. Popular Ukrainian singers and musicians, and other creative teams joined the opening of the exhibition and presented a large concert program. The event took place in the "Globus" shopping mall, in the very heart of Kyiv.

Despite three air alarms in a row during the opening ceremony, the concert and an exhibition opening did happen! The audience warmly welcomed the artists, a very friendly, soulful atmosphere brought everyone closer. All guests and concert participants sang together the national anthem of Ukraine.

Great number of well known Ukrainian singers, children dance and music schools supported the charitable purpose of the event: Among them: ukrainian singer Kishe with his daughter Alisa, Oleksandr Kryvoshapko, band AVIATOR, duet ANNA MARIA, DSIDE BAND, Sofia Yehorova, Artur Bosso, Tais Klochkova from SUPER School vocal center, studio of contemporary choreography FOX BEAT. Choreographer Oleksandr Leshchenko held a dance flashmob for kids, and singer OLEYNIK presented the premiere of his new song "Half".

The Ukrainian public organization "Medical Front", which is headed by a doctor of the highest category, public figure Andriy Lysetsky, took an active part in the fundraising. Olga Sumska - well known Ukrainian artist and actress, TV presenter, ambassador of the NGO "Medical Front" also took part in the event and called on the public to unite for the sake of helping children.

The event was supported by Tetyana Petrakova, head of the children's charity fund International Foundation "F. Generation", editor-in-chief of Ukrainian People magazine, author of more than 500 social projects aimed at developing children's talents, and television expert. Maryna Kinakh is a public figure, an honored journalist of Ukraine, an expert in television social projects, a co-founder of the children's charity fund "F. Generation" International Foundation, a mother and grandmother of many children.

Despite the difficult conditions, on the day of the exhibition "The World Around Me" collected UAH 47,000, and the next day, benefactors transferred another UAH 30,000 to the fund's account. All funds will be directed to the purchase of equipment and renovation of the bomb shelters of the Berdychiv special school and the Novoboriv children's boarding house of the Zhytomyr Regional Council.

The "Kids to Kids" Charity Foundation expresses special thanks to Anna Yakhno and Tanya Goncharova, who donated their original paintings to the foundation for charitable purposes. All these paintings were sold during the exhibition opening.

The "Kids to Kids" Charity Foundation expresses special thanks to students of the Salvador Dalí Art Academy of Modern Art together with the president of the Academy, Oksana Fursa, who held art work-shops for children during the exhibition opening.

The children also painted Patron the dog during the work-shop from the cultural and artistic center of Kyiv and the international volunteer project "Heat for Ukraine". Everyone interested could also get a patriotic make-up from the masters of the beauty salon "Viktoriya Family", the owner of which is Miss Armenia - the charming Victoria Mahoyan!

The team of the "Kids to Kids" Charity Foundation expresses its great gratitude to partners, celebrities and, most importantly, to the children who sent their drawings for the exhibition, because it is thanks to them that we can raise the necessary amount for bomb shelters renovation in boarding shools of Ukraine!
