In May, the Head of the Kids to Kids Foundation met with Ukrainian children, who are currently staying in Germany as refugees of the war. The very first meeting since the annual charity event of the fund “Christmas Miracle”, for the first time during the war… We have gathered to support the children and remind them how important it is to be and stay good people, in spite of the circumstances ??
These children were forced to leave their homes and go to a safe place with their mothers?
The meeting’s theme was based on a fairy tale from our closest friend – child and perinatal psychologist, child psychoanalyst and art therapist Anita Vayakanti. It is a fairy tale about the “warm-hearted ” and “cold-hearted” people. The tale’s message, passed to the children in simple language, was about what would happen if everyone was cold and insensitive to each other. Good always defeats evil. At the meeting we drew and talked a lot… and once again we understood how much and how badly stress affects a child…
We want children from all over the world to only draw the sun, happy families and houses in their pictures!
All children should be healthy and enjoy their childhood!
