The “Christmas Angel” project of the Kids to Kids Foundation is not only about gifts. It is about presence, attention, and genuine care — the things orphaned children need most. This time, together with our benefactors, the Foundation’s team visited the Berdychiv Educational and Rehabilitation Centre to bring the children a true holiday and a sense of wonder.
A Visit to Berdychiv
Our trip to Berdychiv once again became a small miracle.
Saint Nicholas and the Christmas Angel came to visit the children — bringing smiles, warmth, and sincere faith in the holiday spirit. Together with the children, they danced in circles, played joyful games, laughed, hugged, and filled the space with happiness.
Yet the most important part of the visit was personal attention to each child. We talked with every child, listened to their dreams and small wishes, and helped them feel seen, heard, and remembered.
Eyes Filled with Light
The most touching moment was the gift-giving.
The children’s eyes shone so brightly that even adults could not hold back their emotions. The room was filled with a true festive atmosphere — warmth, kindness, and a sense of belonging, where everyone felt part of one big family.
In moments like these, you realize that a holiday is not about decorations, but about people who are there.
