October 20, 2017 the opening of the “Water” project of the Czech artist Olga Yakubovskaya in the Kiev gallery Nebo Art Gallery. The project is supported by Kids to Kids Foundation within the framework of the official program of the “Year of Japan in Ukraine”.
On Saturday, November 4, 2017 a charity auction of works will be held.
10% of the sale of each painting will be directed to the needs of the Kids to Kids Foundation.
Olga Yakubovskaya is not only a fine painter and graphic artist, but also an illustrator of children’s books and bookmaker. During the exhibition, in addition to paintings, guests will be able to get acquainted with her recently published book in Prague and purchase author’s postcards.
The project “Water” will run until November 8 inclusive.

Olga Yakubovskaya was born in 1985. In 2016 she graduated from the Magistracy at the Faculty of Design and Arts Vladislav Sutnar in Plzen. She leads an active exhibition activity. Took part in 23 group projects across Europe, her works were presented in the exposition of the Contemporary Art Contest in San Diego, California, USA. Personal projects were held in the Czech Republic (Prague, Plzen) and Japan (Kyoto, Osaka). Her works are in private and gallery collections in Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Czech Republic, Japan, Sweden, France, Germany, Bulgaria, Israel, Canada and the USA. Olga lives and works in the Czech Republic.
Nebo Art Gallery was founded in Kiev in 2010. The gallery conducts an active exhibition activity and specializes in contemporary art. Gallery collection features works by artists from Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Georgia, the Netherlands and America. Over the years, the gallery has become a kind of platform for creating a whole range of autonomous projects, united by a common creative process:Nebo BookLab Publishing is a publishing house that produces fiction for children and books about art; Nebo Art School is an educational project that united an art school and lecture hall of various thematic areas (art history, world history, history of literature, cinema, classical music). Also in the gallery there are design bureau, bookshop and baguette workshop.
